From Martina:  I love to knit up pretty multicolored fingering-weight yarns in simple, easy-to-do garter stitch: All the creative work the dyer has put into the skein will show! What I also love is a
fun construction for a garter stitch shawl – and details that make it special. “Blauer Pfau” (means “blue peacock” in German) is a triangle with diamond-shaped cut-outs along the middle axis. And the cut-out pieces will magically (sort of) show up at one end of the shawl to add extra interest.
